A father is fuming after his daughter was sent home from school after he spent £140 on her new long bright white braids .Darren Benson, 39, says a Jamaican friend of his daughter Chenise has been allowed to remain at the school despite sporting a very similar hairdo.
Mr Benson criticised teachers at George Pindar School after 13-year-old Chenise caused a stir with her new style.

"It cost £140 and will stay in her hair for a year so it won't be coming out.One of her friends at the school, who has Jamaican heritage, has the same style of hair cut but with a red stripe in it rather than white and she has been allowed to remain."
A policy document on the school's website states: 'Please note we do not allow extreme, unnatural hairstyles or colouring."Any hair accessories should be of a practical nature and should not be decorative
