4 More Men Arrested For Ordering Rape Of 16-Year Old Over Crime Committed By Her Brother

4 more men were recently arrested by the Pakistani police for their involvement in the rape of a teenage girl. The evil act was reportedly committed as a punishment for a rape committed by her brother.

Police reveal that a jirga (village council) in a suburb of the central city of Multan  ordered the rape of the 16-year-old girl as a punishment for her brother also sexually assaulting a 12-year-old.

Brother to the  12-year, who is now in custody is said to have reported the issue to the village council  naming his cousin as the culprit.

To solve the issue, the revenge rape was ordered by the village council, wich eventually led to the arrest of 18 people.

“Both the parties had filed cases of rape against each other at the local police station after the incident that happened last week,” local police official Allah Baksh told AFP Wednesday.

Both the girls are now staying in a woman’s shelter and were due to meet the provincial chief minister Shahbaz Sharif, brother of the prime minister, later Thursday.
