A groom-to-be sent, Damien DeSouza-Kirby, 38, has brought great sorrow to his friends and family after he was found dead.
The deceased was said to have sent a haunting final message to his friend which read:
"Death is the answer", an inquest heard.
According to report, Kirby was said to have been having issues with his fiance and had temporarily refused to go out socialising.
The night before he died last January he had gone out with his colleagues and had sent the text about midnight.
One of his friends who saw the message the following morning innocently assumed he was being "overly emotional" and jokingly replied: "Have you been drinking?"
Kirby, who until his death was a project manager for an energy company, was found hanged at his home in Bamber Bridge, Preston, Lancs, by his best friend who became concerned when he stopped responding to WhatsApp messages.

Kirby was said to have been devastated since he lost his parents two-years ago.
One of his friends said:

"There were times especially in the last few years that he could be difficult to deal with because of what happened with his parents, and arguably before that too.
"I had known him long enough to know he was a pain but also a very very close and good friend. I last saw Damien two weeks before he died.
