Terminally ill Baby Charlie Gard Finally Dies A Week To First Birthday

Terminally ill baby, Charlie Gard, who gained sympathy from Pope Francis and US President Donald Trump, has died after he was turned off life support.His death was revealed by a family spokeswoman on Friday.
Recall Baby Gard became an international subject of discussion after he was denied visa to America for further treatment.

His parents fought a lengthy legal battle to take him to the United States for treatment for a rare genetic condition. He died a week short of his first birthday.

His parents said in a statement
"We only wanted to give him a chance of life.“We will always know in our hearts that we did our very best for Charlie and we hope he is proud of us.
“Mummy and Daddy love you so much Charlie, we always have, we always will.”
