A mother threw a stroller with her 2-year-old son inside down a flight of stairs at a Bronx subway station Thursday, police said.
Investigators believe Jessica Mixon, 26, was angry her toddler’s father was breaking up with her when she pushed the stroller down the steps at the 149th-St.-Grand Concourse station in Melrose at about 2:30 p.m., authorities said.
Medics took the boy to Lincoln Hospital with cuts on his face and head. He was in stable condition, cops said.
Mixon is charged with attempted assault, attempted reckless endangerment and attempted child abandonment,NY Daily News reports
