Teen dad beat 16 month old daughter to coma after mum refused to abort her

A Brooklyn teen accused of beating his 16-month-old daughter within an inch of her life never wanted her born at all.

As Nylah battled to survive Tuesday, her dad’s online rants from around the time of her birth surfaced with Shaquan Taylor slamming his daughter’s mom,Tammy Lewis over her decision to have their child.
Taylor, 19,wrote in a February 2016 post around the time his daughter Nylah was born.

“Feel mad disrespected,”Told that lil b---h to get abortion (and) she tells me she is but still keep it. Exactly why I hate that lil b---h.
“I didn’t even want to have a baby by her (and) it’s sad to say, but f--- it, s--- happens,” he wrote in February 2016. “Please don’t ask who Nylah’s moms is nor do I still f--- with her cause NO. Just f----d (that) hotty a--, that’s it.
Lewis’ Facebook was filled with photos of her beautiful daughter and occasional pot shots at the girl’s dad.

“Worry about your child & not me WTF,” Lewis wrote on Feb. 10, six days before Nylah’s first birthday.

Despite the long-lingering animosity, the dueling parents agreed that Taylor could spend some time with the tot on Father’s Day at his Coney Island apartment.

Dad and daughter were alone together when 17-year-old Lewis received a Facebook message telling her there was a problem with Nylah and she needed to come to the apartment.

The critically injured child was fighting for breath when the mother arrived Sunday, and Tammy grabbed the girl and stormed out of the apartment.

Cops said Taylor chased the pair down to the lobby, where he flattened the mother with a single punch as she clutched their little girl.

An EMS crew arrived and grabbed Nylah, rushing the girl to Maimonides as Taylor continued to chase and beat the teenage mother.

Taylor denied beating his daughter, initially claiming the child fell of the bed before changing his story to say she fell off the toilet.

Either way, investigators said, none of the girl’s injuries are consistent with a fall.

Taylor remained held on $250,000 bail Tuesday, when he marked his 19th birthday behind bars.
Taylor was instead charged with felony assault, acting in a manner injurious to a child younger than 17. He was also charged with beating Lewis.
